Summary
Eric received parking citation #401238399 in Kansas City, MO on Sun Apr 19, 2026 for "PARK METER EXPIRED TIME" (Statute 70-594B) at 500 Main St. The citation was written at 10:58 AM, but Eric had a paid ParkKC session for the same zone (63156), same time window (9:49 AM – 12:19 PM). The mismatch is that the ParkKC app shows the plate as (NE) YLF8 (4 chars) while the officer's ticket and the actual plate is YLF850 (NE). Enforcement's plate reader didn't match "YLF850" to any active session and wrote the ticket.
Straightforward "paid but wrong plate in app" appeal.
