Statements: 1. We are passionate about gardening and providing our clients with a landscape they can be proud to have. Whether starting from scratch, complimenting an existing flower bed, or a complete transformation of that unsightly area of the yard, we are equipped to find what will work best for your unique space. 2. Take the stress of yard work out of your life. Let us take care of mulching, soil amendments and addition, weeding, as well as problem solving for common garden issues. 3. As gardeners we feel the connection to the planet and a desire to incorporate native and pollinator friendly plants to your space. We also recognize the importance of growing more fruits and vegetables at home and have experience adding edible plants to the landscape in an appealing way, be it raised beds or creating a food forest in your backyard. The future is in our dirty hands.

Meet the Team
(Already implemented 2026-04-17 — see commit a6387bd. Order: Chris, Sebastian, Peter, Jonathan, Reuben.)
- Peter — Owner / Plant Manager. Omaha native who grew up surrounded by avid gardeners. When he's not working in the dirt, Peter enjoys cooking and traveling as much as possible.
- Sebastian — Owner / Carpenter. Originally from Valparaíso, Chile, Sebastian relocated to Omaha where he found a passion for woodworking. Every year he continues to create and find inspiration working on new projects.
- Chris — Owner / Carpenter. Also an Omaha native, splits his time between Nebraska and Colorado, where he's been a ski instructor for almost 2 decades. Chris is passionate about being outside, which he carries into his work in both locations.
- Jonathan — Plant and Mow Manager. Works mainly in landscaping and with mow clients but assists in all areas. Also born and raised in Omaha, Jonathan loves to be active outside playing basketball, kayaking, and biking.
- Reuben — Project Supervisor, Break Manager. Reuben is a very attentive observer, making sure work is done promptly and correctly. However, his main focus is always on the possibility of obtaining a treat of any type.

FAQs
When do you send a bill? For most projects we send a bill upon completion. For regular maintenance work, we bill at the end of the month.
How can I pay? We accept checks, cash, as well as a business Venmo.
Do you require a deposit? For our larger projects, yes we ask for a deposit of half the estimate. Being a smaller company, this is necessary to help offset material costs.
Do you have lawn care service? We do. Send us a message to get a quote.
How do estimates work? We generally would like to look at the property in person. Then we'll be able to send a formal estimate within a week or less.
Are you licensed and insured? Yes, we are both licensed with the City of Omaha and the greater Douglas county.

- [ ] Clarify Mailbox: Gross vs Ach — are they distinct files?
- [ ] Source "Deck, Pergola, Fence in rain" (Exist Green)
- [x] ~~Source community engagement photos~~ — Chris's 2026-04-23 doc comment: skip pictures, just link out to BFF, City Sprouts, Exist Green, Omaha Parks Foundation, Sheltering Tree, Tri-Faith Community. Now a Why Us implementation task, not a Phase C blocker.
- [ ] Confirm "Shitty client" curved odd size blocks + Gilaspie vinyl fence — do we have them?
- [ ] Confirm canonical email: footer says
hello@rootstructure.com, contact + SEO sayrootstructureomaha@gmail.com. Pick one before the Theme Settings options page goes in.
2026-04-23 update from Chris
Email + folder share: Chris dropped a "Website Photots" folder (18Jwg7MqlyBUipsUurTT4CykOQ_Vb2e-3) with 9 replacement photos for the previously-red/missing items. He noted: "we don't necessarily need all of them, I'll let you decide what fits best."
Folder contents (map to Our Work as best fits): 1. Floating deck/pergola/woven/cedar #2 — Decks or Pergola 2. Mailbox, cedar.jpg — Workshop (Ach or Gross — needs clarification) 3. Pergola, pine, cantilever deck, composite — Decks or Pergola 4. Pergola, trellis, cedar — Pergola or Workshop 5. Retaining wall, alternating block size.jpg — likely "Shitty client" curved odd-size blocks 6. Retaining wall, large blocks, sienna.jpg — likely Madhaven large blocks 7. Woven, deck boards, cedar, stain #2 — Fences (woven double, westside?) 8. planter and pergola with trash cache — Pergola or Workshop 9. Trellis in garden box — Workshop or Landscaping
New doc comments (2026-04-23):
- Landscaping section — Chris's business partner wants two mockup variants: one matching the Our Work page format, one with 3 pictures + interleaved statements. ✅ Mocked by parallel agent 2026-05-07 (Todoist card moved to Complete) — awaiting client selection.
- Why Us community engagement — replace pictures with links to partner sites (BFF, City Sprouts, Exist Green, Omaha Parks Foundation, Sheltering Tree, Tri-Faith Community). ✅ Shipped 2026-05-07 via new link_list module (commit 9ff6ae5); 6 partners populated on Why Us. Sheltering Tree URL corrected to shelteringtreecommunity.org (commit dfc0bb8). Exist Green URL is behind Cloudflare bot challenge — worth a manual click-test in a real browser.
Apr 17 separate share: Jonathan.JPG (1JMop67egHID95hn1ZzHlhM2LLfkiayZj) — ✅ Verified 2026-05-07: Drive file and WP attachment 332 are byte-identical (matching SHA-256). No swap needed.
